Drapers Hall is one of a handful of ancient English guild halls run and managed by the original company .
The Drapers were wool and woollen cloth merchants. Drapers Hall was built in 1575 and retains original features and furniture from the 17th century
A talk on the history of the Shrewsbury Drapers Company and the building will commence at 11-00 and will be given by Nigel J Hinton a past master.
Opening Times Saturday 11 September 2021: 11.00 – 12.00 after the lecture the Hall will be wiped down and remain available to view until 14.00

Access:This is an ancient building with uneven steps and floors. There are two uneven steps at the entrance to the Hall
Directions: The Hall is opposite the east door of St Mary's Church on Dogpole in Shrewsbury

HERITAGE TRAIL
The Heritage Trail is a self-guided walking tour of the buildings associated with the Drapers Company around the centre of Shrewsbury with some brief details of their history.
The Trail starts in the Square and finish at Drapers Hall. Individuals are responsible for their own safety.
